چکیده
The most common non-viral, global curable sexually transmitted diseases, that annually affects millions of people is trichomoniasis, which caused by the parasiteTrichomonas vaginalis. It was found several immunologic and biochemical factors play a role in pathogenesis Trichomonas vaginalis. In this study, we aimed to investigate relationship betweentheMonocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) pathogenicity vaginalis. In vaginal swabs, urine blood samples were taken from (350) women, whose ages ranged between (15-65) yearsand attending women’s obstetrics gynecology hospital Karbala province during period November 2021 June 2022. general examination direct microscopic swabs used detect parasite, while serum level estimated ELISA technique. A questionnaire form collect information participant women including age, residency, marital status, educational level, fertility using contraceptives. The results showed only (100) out cases positive for vaginalis, highest incidence within age group (15-24) years lowest (55-65) years. According levels, our revealed number percentage illiterate 18 (28.57%), primary school 22 (29.33%), secondary 42 (28.18), whereas with bachelor no significant difference them (P=0.998).The mean standard deviation serum(MCP-1) (15.83±3.1) healthy non-infected (35.65±41.3) patient infected highly (P<0.001).It can be concluded current study levels MCP-1were increased

The detection and localization of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) in human ovarian cancer.
Chemokines may control the macrophage infiltrate found in many solid tumors. In human ovarian cancer, in situ hybridization detected mRNA for the macrophage chemokine monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) in 16/17 serous carcinomas, 4/4 mucinous carcinomas, 2/2 endometrioid carcinomas, and 1/3 borderline tumors. In serous tumors, mRNA expression mainly localized to the epithelial areas, as...
متن کاملMonocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1)-2518 A/G polymorphism and lupus nephritis risk
BACKGROUND Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) plays an important role in the development of allergic inflammatory reactions by recruiting various immune cells, which is associated with many autoimmune diseases, but the association with the MCP-1-2518A/G gene polymorphism and lupus nephritis (LN) was still controversial in previous studies. Thus, we performed a meta-analysis to derive a ...
متن کاملThe Role of MCP-1(Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-1) in Restenosis
Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) is a monomeric polypeptide with a low molecular weight that its major activity is associated with monocytes. The polypeptide causes the expression of e-selectin and the infiltration of monocytes into the subendothelial space by inducing a lasting impact on monocytes. MCP-1 activity also activates monocytes and the express of tissue factor (TF), superox...
متن کاملUrinary monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) is a marker of active renal vasculitis.
BACKGROUND Macrophage infiltration and cytokine production are important in the pathogenesis of crescentic glomerulonephritis in anti-neutrophil cytoplasm antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis. The aim of this study was to investigate whether urinary levels of chemokines, monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) and fractalkine, were useful tools for non-invasive assessment of renal vasculiti...
